  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 3½ tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Make the Batter:

    • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    • In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, melted butter, and caramel sauce.
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined.
  2. Cook the Pancakes:

    • Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease it.
    • Pour ¼ cup of batter per pancake and cook until bubbles form. Flip and cook until golden brown.

    Cook the Waffles:

    • Preheat waffle iron and grease it.
    • Pour about ½ cup batter into the iron and cook until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Make the Salted Caramel Sauce:

    • Melt sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until it turns amber.
    • Stir in butter, then slowly add heavy cream while stirring.
    • Remove from heat and mix in sea salt.
  4. Serve:

    • Drizzle warm caramel sauce over pancakes or waffles.
